Site re-vamp & welcome

Welcome & thanks for visiting :)

I've had this site for a while now. It lived within my photography site, then slowly evolved here. I needed to separate the meat and veg so the plate looked neater. The plan for this site is mainly building on a compilation of lists and researched topics that I find are a morbid part of Australian history.

I was linked in with the Australian paranormal community for a while and have since moved on. But, what drove me there in the first place was a creepy fascination of what 'normal' people would otherwise run from. I've been lucky enough to spend nights locked in some of Australia's most gawd awful locations - vacated prisons, asylums, ghost towns, reportedly haunted homesteads/mansions/pubs/hotels, abandoned hospitals and orphanages. Some people would think that's quite twisted. I think its an experience to be grateful for - as I've been (again) lucky enough to appear on Ch7 (Sydney Weekender, The Morning Show). Ch10 (Studio Ten), the Bio Channel (My Ghost Story), been in various newspaper articles and on radio. These days are a little more quite with focus on kids, photography, travel and historical research/writing.

I'll get to blogging here, now that the zhooozh'ing is somewhat complete and I'm between research ideas.

Have a squiz around and if you feel that anything is missing, pop me a message :)

Having experienced what most people would curl up in a ball and cry about. This will be a place to share those experiences and writing about my interest in the dark history of Australia.
