For as long as I can remember I've had a morbid fascination with the dark side, but haven't most of us? This ranges from the sordid details of true crime and Australia's convict history to unexplainable spooky experiences and mysteriously haunting locations.
I was linked in with the Australian paranormal community for a while and have since moved on. But, what drove me there in the first place was a creepy interest of what 'normal' people would otherwise run from. In 2011, I co-founded APPI (Australian Paranormal Phenomenon Investigators), we set up ghost and historical tours in some of Sydney's most unnerving locations. These tours still run and are being added to on a regular basis. If you haven't yet done a APPI Ghost Hunt & Tour, I highly suggest you do! I've been lucky enough to spend nights locked in some of Australia's most gawd awful locations - vacated prisons, asylums, ghost towns, reportedly haunted homesteads/mansions/pubs/hotels, abandoned hospitals, dead-houses, morgues and orphanages. Some people would think that's quite twisted. I think its an experience to be grateful for - as I've been (again) lucky enough to appear on Ch7 (Sydney Weekender, The Morning Show). Ch10 (Studio Ten), the Bio Channel (My Ghost Story), been in numerous newspaper articles and on various radio stations. I have written articles of the paranormal kind for - APPI, Soul Searchers Paranormal Magazine, The Paranormal Guide, US publication Spirit Magazines, have been published in Doreen Virtues - Saved By an Angel and Karina Machado's - Love Never Dies.
Now that life is a little more quiet, I've been able to focus on my family, photography and travelling. My travel bucket list includes many historically significant locations as well as locations entrenched in the dark side. Many photos on this site are from my travels and are linked back to my photography site -

This website has been put together to somehow catalogue the research I've dabbled in. When I was researching particular topics I found information gaps and lists that hadn't yet been put together. This is something that I will slowly add to.
Feel free to browse and if you think you could add a story or two please head to the contact page and send them through.
