The Bloody Mile, Shellharbour, NSW
In the quaint coastal township of Shellharbour NSW, runs The Bloody Mile.
A stretch of road between the Minnamurra River and the railway station is where over 13 gruesome murders took place in the early pioneering days. It was said that no right minded traveller would pass that way after night fall as the ghostly moaning noises would be too much for any man to handle. Although I have found no solid evidence or transcripts of actual murders taking place its a wonder how this ghostlore was founded. |
